I love getting to read children’s books before I take them into school as I often think about which class and child would really appreciate this first and joining Fireborn, Mia and the Lightcasters, Skandar and Amari and the Night Brothers as epic fantasy thrillers which every child will love is this new series, Nic Blake and the Remarkables. The Manifestor Prophecy is the first in the trilogy from Angie Thomas and it truly is a Remarkable adventure filled with the most shocking twists. From the first page, I loved Nic’s voice and it shows Angie’s talent for pop culture and being relatable to children as I can see the Nic Blake and the Remarkables series being massively popular when it’s released.
What’s really unique about The Manifestor Prophecy is the world Angie has created within our real world and fantasy. It’s a world you lose yourself in and there’s fascinating real historical references and injustices, which will no doubt motivate young readers to research these. A spectacular, magical start to the Nic Blake and the Remarkables series, The Manifestor Prophecy will enthral you from the start and take you into one of the freshest, exciting fantasy worlds in recent years with a protagonist who is going to inspire a generation.
